If it is not possible to remove the furniture, it should be moved to the center of the room and carefully covered with polyethylene film or thick fabric to protect against dust and possible damage. The floor should also be covered with protective materials.

Household appliances, animal cages and aquariums should be removed from the room. This is due to the use of a heat gun during the assembly process, which heats the air to 50°C. Temperature fluctuations can cause condensation to form on the equipment, which can lead to damage, while noise and temperature changes can negatively affect the animals. To ensure the reliability and security of the profile fastening, the screw pitch should be 10-15 cm or approximately 7 cm. The profile joints should be carefully cleaned with a file and covered with foil tape so that sharp edges do not damage the film.

If the walls are finished with plasterboard, but the ceiling is concrete, it is better to attach the profile directly to the concrete ceiling to ensure greater durability. If this is not possible, special “butterfly” dowels are used for plasterboard walls. When attaching to wooden surfaces, additional stiffening elements must be installed to prevent the fabric from bending due to the softness of the wood.

General assembly process

After preparing the room and ceiling, precise marking of the profile (baguette) fastening is carried out along the perimeter of the room. The profile is firmly fixed to the wall with screws.
